From their hugely successful Kickstarter campaign in 2014 – and subsequent endorsement by David Attenborough – to winning both the Ocean Award for Innovation and the Virgin Voom Award in 2018, Hookpod is making huge waves in the fishing industry.
Raising Hookpod’s international profile was essential and gaining credibility was critical. Part of our role at Integro is protecting brands as they expand their business in international waters. Any brand – from startups to scaleups – can suffer if the wrong word is in the wrong place.
We’ve worked closely with Hookpod’s team to create a suite of communications that address the relevant pain points within a technically complex environment. From marketing materials including brochures and ‘how-to’ guides to video subtitling in seven languages, our challenge was to communicate with customers around the world.
We wrote tailored brand communication that not only explained how the invention works and translated complex technical jargon but also built trust with the fishermen who use it.
